Central City Colorado

I can now take visiting Bryce Canyon off my bucket list. It was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectation. The week went by so quickly but it was now time for us to move onto our next location.

The closer we got to Colorado. the greener everything became.  We had rain showers for most of the drive here, but the sun did come out for us when we arrived at our camp site.  When we drove through Vail we couldn’t get over all the snow! We haven’t seen that much since we left VT.  The elevation is 10,066 ft.

We arrived on Friday in Central City CO which is just 40 miles outside of Denver.  We are staying at a KOA in Central City; the elevation here is 8490 ft. The view from our front window is beautiful looking down into the town of Central City.

I don't think we're in Tucson, AZ!!

Yikes Snow!!! in Vail, CO
