What’s the saying you don’t know what you have till it’s
gone, well that’s what I felt with limited wifi coverage. Oh well
if we aren’t posting anything that is why.
Yesterday (Sunday) was our first day visiting Bryce
Canyon. My brain is attempting to find the right word (s) to describe what we
saw, what comes to mind is; breathtaking, awe-inspiring, magnificent, amazing,
beautiful. To be truthful there isn’t
any one word that can describe it. I have a question for you, how many times
can one person say Oh My God? I don’t know either but I can tell you I have
said it a hundred times today. Our minds struggled to take in the vastness and
beauty of the canyon. Every stop we made the view was so diverse. The colors and rock formations are amazing
it’s like walking through the finest art gallery in the world, and indeed it is
one of many that God has created. It was
really interesting to see the HooDoo’s and columns, the way some are stacked
and perfectly balanced is remarkable, the more you look at them you start
seeing images of people and animals!
Today (Monday) we went back to Bryce Canyon to finish our
tour. It was easier today with less traffic but still busy there were several
places that were full so they close the road.
If you are a hiker you would be in your glory there are
so many trails, we enjoyed walking through the woods taking in the smell of the
pines and listening to the birds singing their songs. Speaking of birds, we were at one of the
stops and a very large beautiful Raven was flying overhead and decided to perch
himself on one of the lower braches of a pine tree, it was funny because it was
like he was posing for everyone and believe me many of the tourist were taking
his picture, I think he’s done this before. LOL.
Beautiful!
